Stairtreads are manufactured from open steel flooring or durbar flooring.

The tables to the left show the most popular grating styles, along with the maximum recommended width and preferred depths for each type.

These values are calculated on a single concentrated imposed load of 1.5 kN, spread over an area 150mm x 150mm, placed on the centre of the leading edge of the tread.

Stair treads can be supplied Self Coloured or Galvanised. Other finishes are available on request.
